Youth Leadership Well-being Workshop
Attention Youth Leadership Participants! Join us for a Well-Being Workshop on Thursday, April 9 from 11:30 AM–2:00 PM. Lunch will be provided! This is your chance to make your voice heard in your community and contribute well-being projects that matter to youth. McSheffrey Children’s Holiday Party
Join us for the McSheffrey Children’s Holiday Party on Sunday, December 14th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. There will be presents, a visit from Santa, a cookie decorating contest, and pizza for lunch. Join us for a CRA and Service Canada Clinic on November 26th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Please ensure you bring a government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License, PR card, Passport, etc.). All community members are welcome to attend.
McSheffrey Children’s Holiday Party – Registration Available
Registration for the McSheffreys Children’s Holiday Party is now available for pick-up at the Centre. This event is open to residents living in NL Housing units, including Brophy Place, Kelly Street, Hunt’s Lane, Blackwood Place, and McGrath Place East. The party will take place on December 14th from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Completed registrations are due by Friday, November 21st.
Cross-Cultural Parenting Workshop
Module 1 of the Cross-Cultural Parenting Workshop, focusing on Supervision, will take place on Wednesday, November 19th from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. Registration is required to attend.

Thanksgiving Kettle Meal

Afterschool program (Monday and Wednesday for K-3's and Tuesday and Thursday for 4-6's), 50+ Afternoon Tea on Wednesday at 12:00, Playgroup on Thursday from 10:30-11:30, and Kettle is On (community meal) on Friday at 12:00.
Baby Group With Public Health Nurse
We’re excited to launch a new Baby Group starting Thursday, September 11th! Led by a Public Health Nurse, the program is for infants aged 0–12 months and meets every Thursday morning from 10:30–11:30 AM. Parents can connect with other caregivers, have their baby weighed, receive breastfeeding support, and access helpful resources in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Walk for Literacy
Join us on Friday, September 12 at 3:00 PM for our Walk for Literacy in support of the Youth Achieve program! We’ll take a walk around our neighborhood together and then gather back at the Centre for a barbecue, fun, and prizes! Come out, get active, and support a great cause in our community!
